Jim Lubing


James K. Lubing, founder of the firm, has practiced law in Jackson since 1985. Jim was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin in 1979, and earned his J.D. from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1985.

Jim moved to Wyoming in 1982, and married his wife of 28 years, Jill. He has been engaged in the general practice of law from his office in Jackson Hole since 1985. Jim maintains a diverse practice, representing clients in all types of civil and criminal litigation in the State and Federal Courts of Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. He is also admitted to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jim was appointed as a part-time United States Magistrate Judge in 2004, and continues to serve in that capacity. His experience as both lawyer and judge has allowed him to pursue a thriving mediation practice, helping individuals and their attorneys resolve disputes of all kinds.

Jim is a member of the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys, Teton County Bar Association, the Idaho State Bar Association, Montana State Bar Association, the Wyoming State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the Federal Magistrate Judge’s Association.

Jim and his wife have two grown children, two dogs, and two horses. He spends his free time hiking, skiing, and biking, with a little fishing thrown in on the side. In the fall, most of his weekends are spent remaining a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Leah Corrigan


Leah K. Corrigan joined the firm in 2009, becoming a partner in 2010. A native Coloradan, she was raised in the rural Yampa Valley, near Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Leah graduated with a degree in Natural Resource Policy from Fort Lewis College, in Durango, Colorado. She spent the next ten years guiding wilderness river trips in the great river canyons of the American West. Leah earned her J.D. from the University of Montana, graduating in the top fifteen percent of her class.

Leah clerked for the Honorable Jeremiah Lynch, of the United States District Court for the District of Montana during law school, and served as law clerk to the Honorable W. William Leaphart of the Montana Supreme Court until she joined the firm in 2009. She is admitted to practice in the State and Federal courts of Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado. Leah represents clients in both civil and criminal matters, specializing in property law, tort defense, construction litigation, natural resource law, and all types of criminal law.

She is a member of the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys, the Wyoming Bar Association, the Teton County Bar Association, the Montana State Bar, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association. Leah also serves on the board of Environmental Legal Education Network.

Leah lives in Jackson with her husband Ben and their various pets, and enjoys exploring the open spaces of the West – preferably by ski, mountain bike, or boat.

Pamela T. Harvey


Pamela T. Harvey recently joined Lubing & Corrigan, LLC in November of 2010. Pam grew up in the small shoreline town of Madison, Connecticut. She holds a B.A. in psychology from Florida State University, and earned her J.D. at Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut, graduating 17th in her class. During law school Pam worked full time, first as a paralegal at a litigation firm handling mass tort claims and later as a toxic tort consultant at a major insurance company.

After graduating from law school Pam clerked for the Honorable Thomas L. Nadeau, Superior Court Judge for the State of Connecticut. She also worked as a litigation attorney representing policyholders seeking coverage under their commercial general liability policies.

In 2005 Pam made a life changing cross-country move, eventually landing in the Jackson, Wyoming area. Since then Pam has assisted local attorneys in Wyoming and Idaho with legal research and writing projects on a variety of subjects, including torts, contracts, municipal law, criminal law and property law, and practiced as a litigation attorney representing individuals suffering from catastrophic personal injuries. Most recently, Pam assisted in litigating a three-month personal injury case against a major product manufacturer, resulting in a multimillion-dollar verdict in favor of the injured clients involved.

Pam is an active member of the Wyoming, Idaho and Connecticut Bars and has been involved in litigation throughout the country. She is a member of the Wyoming Bar Association, the Teton County Bar Association, the Idaho Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association. Pam recently became a mentor for the Teton County Mentor Project and spends her free time exploring, hiking, camping, skiing and fly fishing in the mountains and rivers of Wyoming and Idaho in the company of her fiancé and two black labs.

Becca Puleo

, Legal Assistant


Becca is the newest member of our team. She assists in all aspects of litigation and transactional support. A native of Eugene, Oregon, Becca graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in sociology. She moved to Jackson Hole in the summer of 2004. With a background in human resources and customer service, Becca adds a high level of organization and efficiency to our office, helping us remain very responsive to our clients. Becca is an avid hiker, enjoying a number of trails in town during the week and longer hikes in the national parks and forests on the weekends.

Cindy Halas

, Legal Assistant


A native of El Paso, Texas, Cindy brings a wealth of legal experience to the firm. She assists in all aspects of litigation preparation, document drafting, and transaction support. Cindy attended UNLV to become a certified legal assistant after graduating from Texas Tech with a degree in Political Science. Cindy joined the firm in 2010, after having spent much of her career working as a legal assistant at firms in Las Vegas and Jackson. Talented, organized and cheerful, Cindy brings a special skill set to the firm that helps us provide cost effective and highly professional legal services to our clients. Cindy lives near the banks of the Salt River with her husband, Wendell, and her daughter, Maddie. She enjoys hiking, skiing and fishing with her family, and is an amateur movie buff.
